How leaders can stay informed to keep your company to remain agile and relevant
I recently attended a presentation by Peter Diamandis who has recently been named by Fortune Magazine as one of the “World’s 50 Greatest Leaders.”
Diamandis is the Founder & Executive Chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation, which leads the world in designing and operating large-scale incentive competitions. He is also the Executive Founder of Singularity University, a graduate-level Silicon Valley institution that counsels the world’s leaders on exponentially growing technologies.
In a recent presentation he spoke about exponential technological innovation…and the disruption and innovation ahead of us in most industry sectors…not just the obvious ones. It is imperative that leaders stay informed in order to consider how their companies can remain agile and relevant.
Peter’s presentation may be downloaded in the link below. It is a “knock your socks off” discourse, not only of what you can expect, but what is happening now!
In PKA’s strategic planning engagements, we are now consistently asking such questions as, “how can you leverage technology, globalization, and innovation to remain relevant, competitive, and profitable when you can’t foretell where your competition is coming from”, “how might you design your business differently if you were provided with a blank sheet of paper?”
We encourage you to share the presentation with others in your organization and create your own think-tank to utilize these and other questions as a forum to create your future.
